Juvenile Intensive Probation

Structured Program

JIPS is a program which is highly structured and closely supervised, which emphasizes house arrest, surveillance, treatment, work and education. Juveniles may participate in any or all of these activities for a minimum of 32 hours of productivity a week.

Failure to Comply

Failure to comply with Juvenile Intensive Probation could result in long term detention of up to one year, commitment to the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections until the juvenile's 18th birthday or transfer and charging in adult court.
