Overview
The Graham County Regional Park Complex is one of the major attractions in Graham County throughout the year. Want to find a park with fields for soccer, softball, baseball or flag football? A park where there are picnic facilities both covered and open air? A park with fishing for the kids? A park with a walking/jogging path? A park with all kinds of facilities for a fair, concerts, equestrian events or indoor weddings and other large family events? Then the Graham County facility is the place to go.
Activities
The park is best known for the annual Graham County Fair in October; however, there are many other large activities including a pro rodeo, Old Time Fiddlers Contest, annual 4th of July patriotic show and fireworks, craft shows, concerts and consumer expos. The basketball courts are open-air and available for use. Ongoing repairs will certainly add to the enjoyment of these areas in the future.
County Fair
In one way or another, the annual
Graham County Fair affects virtually every household in the county. For this reason, the fair is planned to include activities, competitions and entertainment for all age groups. For fair books and information on how to enter, call the parks office.
Arena
The arena is open year round for public use. Horses can be boarded in an open pen or a barn stall on a seasonal basis only (call for availability). When available, the arena and racetrack are for use at your own risk. During the hot months, the arena lights may be rented for evening use for ten dollars per hour.
Recreation Leagues
Organized youth leagues are coordinated by the Mount Graham Little League, Gila Valley AYSO (soccer) and Graham County ASA Girls’ Fast pitch. Adult softball leagues are coordinated through the Parks Office with men's slow pitch and coed slow pitch leagues sign-up beginning in April. Leagues run from June through September for both. Visit the
Adult Softball League page for more information.
